Foodways: Ice Cream Then & Now - July 18

During our spring season of field trips, a student asked, “Did the pioneers have ice cream?” As a matter of fact, they did!
Join us for a taste of history as we explore the evolution of ice cream from the 1700s to today. Learn about historic farming practices and modern-day dairy farming, as well as the history of ice cream as a part of American culture and cuisine. This experience will culminate with a 3-flavor ice cream flight provided by Riverbend Creamery.
