Beginner foot percussion fun! Learn the basics of what is often called “the basic” in clogging, and what is regionally known as the Tennessee walking step. No previous experience necessary- just a willingness to have fun and try!
Wear comfortable shoes and dress for movement. If you plan to wear taps, please bring a board to protect the floor. There will be a scheduled break halfway through the class. Feel free to bring a small snack and something to drink if you’d like.
Laura Wheeler
Laura Wheeler cannot sit still to good music! She loves helping others get out on the dance floor. Most of her experience with traditional dance comes from attending The Swannanoa Gathering for several decades. Beginner dancers are her specialty.
Class registrations are non-refundable, except in the event that Hart Square cancels the class.
