Paint your own quilt square! Now sewing is necessary.
Each student will be taking home a completed 2x2 ft barn quilt square. You will have nine samples to choose from, and you will be drawing your design. Each person will have the opportunity to learn the entire process of painting and designing a barn quilt. We have approximately 100 different colors to choose from, and we will be taping the lines to achieve a clean, sound design. All paints are water-based, and everything we use is suitable for outdoors—weatherproof boards and paint.
This class has an 8-student minimum enrollment requirement. If we do not reach the minimum required, the class is subject to cancellation, and your payment will be refunded.
Carol Mitchell
I am Carol Mitchell a traveling Barn quilt teacher from Taylorsville, NC. Twelve years ago I started painting and teaching others to paint exterior barn quilts for sheds, barns, garages, and porches. Now my territory is NC, TN, and SC. I have been on the committee to get a barn quilt wall in Taylorsville and now we have the biggest barn quilt wall in NC. Class registrations are non-refundable, except in the event that Hart Square cancels the class.
