Stepping into Hart Square Village is like stepping back in time. But to continue to experience the past, we must preserve the historic village for the future.
A legacy of preserving and sharing began in 1973 when Dr. Bob Hart moved the Hunsucker House, circa 1840, to what is now Hart Square Village. This was the first step in building a historic village dedicated to the ongoing preservation of our pioneer heritage. Both the historic cabins and the arts and trades that are demonstrated at Hart Square are in danger of extinction without your support. From rot and decay to termite damage to local artisans having no apprentices - the need to preserve history is great.
I hope we can count on your support as we celebrate the past and look ahead to the future. The next time you visit Hart Square Village, please know that your financial contribution makes it possible to preserve and share this national treasure.
