(Rain or Shine)
$50

Made with stoneware clay, these garden markers will add a decorative touch to your garden. Participants will create 10 markers of their choosing. Previous experience with clay is not required. These markers are weather safe but for longevity, it is recommended to bring them in before the first frost of the year.

**Alphabet stamps will be provided for students to share. Students are welcome to bring their own set of alphabet stamps to use in class, keeping in mind that the height of each letter should be no more than 1/2" high in order to fit within the garden marker template. Students will be notified when projects are ready for pick-up, approximately 3 weeks after class. You may choose to have your project shipped for an additional $10 (cash only) paid directly to Instructor in class.

Debra Zimmerman

I'm a potter and mosaic artist and have been creating art for most of my life.  Having moved to Catawba Valley 10 years ago, I have spent the better part of that time dedicated to the craft of clay.  My unique and whimsical pottery and stained glass mosaics can be found at local art shows, gift shops, and galleries under my business name ‘Groovy Girl Art Studio’.  With a desire to educate and inspire others, I teach pottery and mosaic classes in area schools, community businesses, and in my home studio which I share with my husband, Dale who is also a potter.
